Holi is a spring festival also known as the festival of colors or the festival of love. It is an ancient Hindu religious festival which has become popular with non-Hindus in many parts of South Asia, as well as people of other communities outside Asia.

It is primarily observed in India, Nepal, and other regions of the world with significant populations of Hindus or people of Indian origin. The festival has, in recent times, spread to parts of Europe and North America as a spring celebration of love, frolic, and colours.

Diwali Special Tour

Diwali(also known as "festival of lights") is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn every year. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness. The festival preparations and rituals typically extend over a five-day period, but the main festival night of Diwali coincides with the darkest, new moon night of the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika. In the Gregorian calendar, Diwali falls between mid-October and mid-November.

Snake Boat Race

A tradition so majestic and heavy with history and mythology attached to it, snake boat racing in Kerala is a very different sight from the viewing tents these days! Lakhs of people at a time witness the resplendent event, photographers clicking non-stop and drones flying all over the backwaters to capture every oscillation of the raging boat men. The 400-year-old tradition has been nurtured in the coastal state with pomp and celebration.
The annual boat race, held during Kerala's harvest festival Onam (between August and September), is so highly regarded that the oarsmen's diet and nutrition is taken care of by the village they belong to. On the big day of the event, after a winning boat crosses the finish line, all the oarsmen are fed a feast called Vallasadhya. It is tradition that the oarsmen sing rhythmic songs while eating!

The Kandy Esala Perahera

The Kandy Esala Perahera is a colorful, lively and loud Buddhist pageant steeped in tradition and history. Running over ten nights in July/August, the pageant is a tribute to Lord Buddha's sacred tooth relic which is housed at the 'Temple of the Tooth' (Dalada Maligawa). Every year almost a million people descend on Kandy to pay homage and to view the hundreds of traditional dancers, drummers and chieftains in elaborate outfits, plus over a 100 majestic elephants on parade. Its origins are traced back to 300 A.D.

Scuba diving

Scuba diving is the greatest action on the Andaman & Nicobar Island other than relaxing around and tasting the delicacy of seafood. A PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) certified Scuba instructor will brief you about the “dos and don’ts” of Scuba Diving. Later, you will be taken to the diving sites the guides decide on, which can be reached by a boat ride of 40 minutes from the Scuba Diving camp. Upon reaching the dive site, the proper equipment for Scuba diving will be given to you and then embark your underwater experience. The instructor will accompany you through the entire process.
